The ACAT Secretariat collaborated with LPS member institutions, the CATCan Network, government and other organizations to support previous coordination of information sharing for the LPS during the effects of COVID-19.

Supporting Learner Pathways and Mobility During COVID-19

The ACAT Secretariat worked to maintain all operations and supports for Alberta's Learner Pathways System (LPS) during the COVID-19 Pandemic (2020-2022). All system tools, data, and supports were available for students on Transfer Alberta and for stakeholders via ACAT.

We supported the important efforts made by all member institutions as they worked to respond to the needs of students and learning. We also supported students as they worked through COVID-19-related challenges regarding learner pathways and mobility information.

We will continue to work with all LPS institutions (including Registrars and Contact Persons), councils on admissions and transfer and like bodies in Canada (CATs), government, and relevant organizations to support coordination of information sharing. Previous key links and updates are provided.
